Quality, boilers, storage and consumption.
Our wood pellets are certified to the highest European standard, ENplus A1. They have a calorific value of min. 18 MJ/kg, a maximum ash content of 0.7%, and moisture below 8%. They are made exclusively from clean wood without chemical additives.
ENplus A1 wood pellets are intended for households and meet the highest quality standards. Industrial DIN pellets have a higher ash content and are designed for large-scale boiler houses or industrial applications where maintenance is performed more frequently.
Our ENplus A1 wood pellets are compatible with all modern boilers designed for pellets. If your boiler complies with the European standard EN 303-5, you should have no issues with combustion or maintenance.
High-quality pellets have:
Uniform colour and diameter (6 mm)
Minimal dust
Moisture content below 10%
No foreign odours
An ENplus A1 certificate on the packaging
With average home heating (approx. 10–15 kg of pellets per day), 1 pallet (960 kg) will last for 60–90 days, depending on the boiler’s efficiency and the home’s insulation.
Pellets must not be exposed to moisture. Outdoor storage is only possible in a completely covered, dry space with ventilation. Direct contact with rain or moisture will cause the pellets to disintegrate.
We recommend decanting pellets into a dry, sealed hopper with no access to moisture. The original bags are only suitable for short-term storage in a dry environment.
Wood types, measures and uses.
We exclusively use wood from local, certified forests – mainly spruce, beech, and oak. All raw materials come from sustainable forest management and are free from chemical treatments.
A loose cubic metre is firewood tipped loosely into a 1 m³ space; a stacked cubic metre is neatly stacked. 1 loose m³ equals about 0.6–0.7 stacked m³. We sell firewood by the loose cubic metre.
